Days of the Dead – Indianapolis 2018: Signed Table Photos

Published on July 3, 2018 by   ·   No Comments

This gallery of images is from Miss Jaye’s recent trip to Days of the Dead in Indianapolis, and features all of her autographed photos purchased from the entertainers’ tables or hard copies of pro photos that were signed.  This is a great collection of people from all over the entertainment spectrum!

First up is the amazing PJ Soles!  PJ appears in two of the best horror films to come out of the 1970s: Halloween and Carrie!  Miss Jaye actually has a smaller version of this same print that is signed by PJ from a Horror Block subscription box, and she decided to get the larger version at the con!

PJ also appeared in Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects along with Sid Haig – here’s a photo signed by both actors!

As a child of the 80s, Miss Jaye loved so many of the great animated cartoons of that decade, so it was a special treat to get to meet Alan Oppenheimer, the voice of Skeletor!  In addition to the photo, she also got a Skeletor Funko Pop signed by the prodigious voice actor.

Speaking of voice actors, there are few voices in horror more iconic than the cackling, constantly punning Cryptkeeper from Tales from the Crypt, and Miss Jaye had a chance to meet and chat with voice actor John Kassir!

Adding to her growing collection of Friday the 13th franchise photos, Miss Jaye also had a chance to meet the very sexy Warrington Gillette, one of the actors to appear as Jason in Friday the 13th Part 2!

There were lots of very sexy and talented actors at the con; next up is Ernie Hudson!  Not only did Miss Jaye get the costumed photo op with Ernie (which you can see in the previous gallery, HERE), but she also snagged this table photo – unfortunately there weren’t any shots from Miss Congeniality to choose from!

And of course we can’t forget about the very sweet and ever so sexy Ross Marquand.  He was such a class act – he really worked to have a conversation and connect with every person who came up to his table.  Funny story: Miss Jaye and Ross got to chatting about North Dakota and the lack of queer Walking Dead Funko Pop characters, and they got so into it that Ross actually forgot to sign the photo!  He inscribed it to Janessa, wrote “Heart’s still beating” and then didn’t sign it.  Miss Jaye wasn’t sure if maybe that was on purpose, but she lingered around to see if he signed other pictures, and when he did she popped back in line.  They had a nice laugh about it, and she got her picture signed!

In an effort to try to be more budget conscious (what’s that?!), Miss Jaye generally didn’t pick up table photos from people if she was already getting a pro photo with them or another item signed.  But this Twin Peaks look for Laura Palmer by actress Sheryl Lee was just too iconic – how could she resist?!

Speaking of iconic, Elvira Mistress of the Dark never seems to age and Cassandra Peterson, the actress who created the character, is as full of energy and charm as ever!  Miss Jaye is very inspired by the legacy Cassandra created, and picked up a couple of shots of the actress as well as getting a signed Funko Pop – the glow in the dark chase variant of the mummy look!

Ted Raimi was once again in attendance, looking just as gorgeous and being just as charming as his appearance in Charlotte!  Miss Jaye picked up another fantastic photo from this talented actor.

Finally, we have a few shots of some fantastic wrestlers.  Miss Jaye isn’t exactly a wrestling aficionado, but she loves the athleticism, the campy and colorful costuming…and of course, the gorgeous men!  First up is the gorgeous Buff Bagwell, who is known not only as a wrestler but for a while as one of the top-rated gigolos on!  Unfortunately Miss Jaye wasn’t able to procure any of those services during the con, but she did get this gorgeous photo!

Former wrestler and American Gladiator Madusa was in attendance, looking fabulous and foxy as ever!  She also has a history driving monster trucks, so Miss Jaye decided to snap up this awesome photo that’s a perfect blend of beauty and brawn!

Finally, the pro photo op with the Outsiders, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, came with a complimentary signature from each.  Here’s the pro photo with both signatures!  And there’s a chance Miss Jaye got a second autographed copy for someone special…

Hope you enjoyed this gallery and the stories that went along with each of the photos.  Below is a gallery with all of the images that you can click into to make full size!
